Hello and Welcome to The Art Place. Here you will find a gallery of my artwork and some of my inspirational musings.

I work with oils, acrylic and water color. I work with a large scope of subjects from landscapes to people.

I am almost entirely a self taught artist. I utilize all sorts of tools to control the results of my art work, including tissues, knives, brushes, fingers, and a variety of surfaces and techniques . I’m not afraid to try new things and in fact like to experiment.

Artwork, panting and drawing helps me to decompress, relax and produce pictures that are both pleasing to me and inspirational to others. I aim to paint places and people that others are familiar with to bring their memories and role models to life in a unique way. I paint as a hobby for now and have only begun to sell in locally owned small businesses.

In my opinion art is an expression of the inner self. the way one sees the world and organizes it. I create things I am inspired by and hope to speak something compelling through what I produce to others I love beauty and I want to convey beauty in unique ways through what I create.

I like to paint and draw things and people and places familiar to others, yet in my own unique “language”. I have an associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Dean College in Franklin, MA. I have worked in several area preschools, and have taught Art to elementary students at local public Community programs. I have also worked teaching watercolor at artwork studio as well as out of my own home. I currently reside in Massachusetts and take art classes from masters in Fine Art at Dan-forth Art School. My plan is to continue selling Art and supporting local small owned businesses.
