Crossing the Delaware
I watched a documentary on George Washington and was so touched by the peril that his loyal Patriots went through to secure freedom and victory. IN particular after they crossed the icy waters of the Delaware River, marching some without shoes in snow that left a trail of blood behind them. I paused the movie and took a photo with my phone and this is that scene.
Rocky Shore
A friend at the gym suggested I paint some beach pictures that people might like to hang in their vacation homes on the cape. This is a photograph I found online. I love the contrast of the light and dark that makes the rocks look sharp and defined. I used a rubber tip to scratch out the grasses.
